Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sona Topas Tourism Industry (JK:SONA), which rose 17.42% or 805 points to trade at 5425 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Mayapada Internasional (JK:MAYA) added 11.63% or 250 points to end at 2400 and Kedawung Setia Industrial Tbk (JK:KDSI) was up 11.50% or 23 points to 223 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Mega Tbk (JK:MEGA), which fell 10.00% or 300 points to trade at 2700 at the close. Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) declined 9.89% or 27 points to end at 246 and Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk (JK:JAWA) was down 9.76% or 20 points to 185.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 190 to 106 and 43 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.46% or 0.19 to $41.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.33% or 0.60 to hit $45.79 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.10 to trade at $1083.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.51% to 13690.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.04% to 9667.50.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 98.92.
