CALGARY, Alberta, March 18 (Reuters) - The Canadian
crude-producing province of Alberta wants to see at least C$1
billion ($769.29 million) in infrastructure investment allocated
to the province in Canada's 2016 budget, Premier Rachel Notley
said on Friday.
Alberta, the No. 1 exporter of crude to the United States,
has been hammered by the collapse in global oil prices CLc1
LCOc1 as companies slashed investment, delayed new oil sands
projects and laid off tens of thousands of workers.
