Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Agriculture and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 2.43% or 30.0 points to trade at 1265.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.78% or 55.0 points to end at 3150.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.56% or 500.0 points to 32600.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.69% or 0.4 points to trade at 23.2 in late trade. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) declined 0.90% or 120.0 points to end at 13200.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.83% or 80.0 points to 9600.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.39% or 1.66 to $121.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.65% or 16.50 to hit $2534.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.60 to trade at $1326.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.17% to 2853.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.18% to 874.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 89.72.
