Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 1.72% or 0.3 points to trade at 17.7 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) added 1.53% or 9.0 points to end at 597.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was up 1.20% or 15.0 points to 1260.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 6.84% or 800.0 points to trade at 10900.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.78% or 340.0 points to end at 18800.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) shed 1.50% or 60.0 points to 3950.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 14 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.61% or 0.92 to $151.15 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.13% or 58.00 to hit $2780.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.43% or 5.65 to trade at $1320.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.42% to 2881.94, while BRL/COP fell 0.11% to 886.64.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.02% at 95.41.
