Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 5.00% or 75.0 points to trade at 1575.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 3.64% or 200.0 points to end at 5700.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 2.96% or 45.0 points to 1565.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which fell 0.53% or 50.0 points to trade at 9400.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 0.46% or 100.0 points to end at 21600.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was down 0.32% or 30.0 points to 9230.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 5 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.21% or 0.25 to $116.62 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.23% or 6.50 to hit $2820.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 1.57% or 17.30 to trade at $1122.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.97% to 3365.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.03% to 830.72.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 99.09.
