Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.06% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST), which rose 24.57% or 430 points to trade at 2180 at the close. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) added 22.64% or 72 points to end at 390 and Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI) was up 19.50% or 78 points to 478 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG), which lost 87.50% or 350 points to trade at 50 in late trade. Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI) declined 24.96% or 151 points to end at 454 and Reliance Securities Tbk (JK:RELI) shed 24.88% or 106 points to 320.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 191 to 133 and 108 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $51.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.11% or 0.06 to hit $54.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.65 to trade at $1255.15 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.08% to 13330.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.05% to 10076.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.48.
