Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Industry, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk (JK:SDMU), which rose 20.00% or 40 points to trade at 240 at the close. Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) added 18.86% or 66 points to end at 416 and Citatah Tbk (JK:CTTH) was up 18.82% or 16 points to 101 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA), which lost 17.31% or 90 points to trade at 430 in late trade. Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring Tbk (JK:DGIK) declined 12.90% or 8 points to end at 54 and Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) shed 10.92% or 19 points to 155.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 154 to 152 and 134 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.76% or 0.44 to $57.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.95% or 0.60 to hit $62.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.22 to trade at $1293.68 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.09% to 13500.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.04% to 10263.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 93.07.
