Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 3.28% or 186 points to trade at 5860 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 2.26% or 154 points to end at 6959 and Liveperson (TA:LPSN) was up 2.14% or 192 points to 9164 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Harel (TA:HARL), which lost 1.01% or 25 points to trade at 2453 in late trade. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 0.90% or 580 points to end at 63540 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) shed 0.74% or 0.3 points to 40.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 223 to 160 and 35 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.93% or 1.01 to $53.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.03% or 1.25 to hit $62.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.35 to trade at $1313.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.23% to 3.6372, while EUR/ILS fell 0.00% to 4.1105.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 96.720.
