Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology and Communication sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.91%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which rose 2.33% or 14.0 points to trade at 615.0 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 1.88% or 1600 points to end at 86890 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) was up 0.48% or 24 points to 5058 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva (TA:TEVA), which lost 3.86% or 450 points to trade at 11210 in late trade. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 2.67% or 50 points to end at 1825 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) shed 2.64% or 530 points to 19570.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 320 to 94 and 88 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.03% or 0.50 to $49.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.22% or 0.63 to hit $52.28 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.89% or 23.42 to trade at $1259.82 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.6107, while EUR/ILS rose 0.59% to 4.0251.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.66% at 97.45.
