Investing.com – Malaysia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Plantation sectors led shares higher.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.51% or 0.70 to $47.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.13% or 0.56 to hit $50.29 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.88% or 10.40 to trade at $1177.10 a troy ounce.
SGD/MYR was up 1.19% to 3.0191, while USD/MYR rose 1.57% to 4.1748.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 94.64.
