Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Commercial Service And Supplies and Auto & components sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS), which rose 2.67% or 0.2 points to trade at 7.7 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 2.13% or 1.3 points to end at 62.2 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 1.82% or 0.46 points to 25.69 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 1.80% or 5.8 points to trade at 317.3 in late trade. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.64% or 0.90 points to end at 54.00 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) shed 1.22% or 4.1 points to 331.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 77 and 32 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.41% or 0.17 to $41.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.46% or 0.19 to hit $41.73 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.10 to trade at $1247.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.29% to 9.4366, while USD/NOK fell 0.00% to 8.4176.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.31% at 95.70.
