Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Commercial Service And Supplies and Media sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 1.29% or 1.10 points to trade at 86.65 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 0.70% or 3.20 points to end at 462.80 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.53% or 1.8 points to 338.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 2.67% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.91 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.43% or 1.75 points to end at 70.25 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 2.09% or 6.60 points to 309.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 115 to 51 and 30 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.02% or 0.74 to $73.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $77.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.50 to trade at $1251.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.17% to 9.4832, while USD/NOK fell 0.03% to 8.1904.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 94.91.
