Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 6.28% or 0.06 points to trade at 0.97 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 1.16% or 0.95 points to end at 82.80 and Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) was up 0.45% or 0.25 points to 55.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 5.44% or 1.90 points to trade at 33.00 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 5.02% or 0.85 points to end at 16.08 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 4.42% or 0.7 points to 16.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 112 to 60 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.57% or 1.64 to $44.29 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.55% or 1.70 to hit $46.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.05% or 14.10 to trade at $1330.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.14% to 9.1380, while USD/NOK rose 0.57% to 8.1540.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 95.48.
