Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 2.73% or 0.30 points to trade at 11.30 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.02% or 3.00 points to end at 296.40 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 0.50% or 2.00 points to 405.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 3.51% or 0.82 points to trade at 22.55 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.56% or 1.70 points to end at 64.75 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 2.45% or 5.00 points to 199.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 125 to 46 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.46% or 0.29 to $62.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.23% or 0.15 to hit $66.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 6.10 to trade at $1318.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.52% to 9.5309, while USD/NOK rose 0.11% to 7.7237.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 89.41.
