Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Materials and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which rose 1.63% or 0.8 points to trade at 47.0 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 0.54% or 0.6 points to end at 120.7 and Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL:NOFI) was up 0.43% or 0.40 points to 92.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 3.52% or 0.38 points to trade at 10.42 in late trade. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 3.47% or 12.2 points to end at 339.0 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 2.75% or 0.70 points to 24.75.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 133 to 42 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.99% or 0.61 to $61.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.16% or 0.75 to hit $63.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 7.20 to trade at $1310.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.31% to 9.6050, while USD/NOK fell 0.46% to 7.8653.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 90.59.
