Subject: Eight Years of Driver Complaints: Navigation Failures, Financial Losses, and Lack of Transparency at DoorDash Dear DoorDash Shareholders and Investors, I am a DoorDash delivery driver based in Quebec, Canada. I wish to bring several serious concerns to your attention regarding navigation failures, driver compensation, and transparency. Public complaints dating back to at least 2018 describe recurring navigation problems experienced by DoorDash drivers in Canada and the United States. These include inaccurate routes, unrecognized road closures, unnecessary detours, and additional driving expenses. Similar complaints continue in 2026. When DoorDash's navigation system fails to recognize construction zones or road closures, drivers may be forced to travel significantly farther than originally estimated. The resulting fuel costs, vehicle wear, and lost time are often absorbed by drivers without guaranteed additional compensation. Another concern is the lack of guaranteed access to the customer's exact delivery address before accepting an order. Experienced local drivers frequently know better routes than those suggested by the application. Providing the exact destination beforehand would allow them to evaluate road conditions, anticipate detours, and make informed decisions about accepting deliveries. This raises an important question: Could withholding exact delivery addresses reduce order rejection rates and benefit DoorDash financially? I am not alleging that this is intentional. However, shareholders deserve to know whether DoorDash has examined this possibility. After approximately eight years of publicly reported complaints, I believe investors should ask management the following questions: 1. Why do navigation problems involving road closures and construction detours continue to occur? 2. Why are drivers not automatically compensated for significant unavoidable detours? 3. Why are exact delivery addresses not consistently available before accepting orders? 4. Has DoorDash studied whether providing exact addresses would increase order rejection rates? 5. Has the board of directors examined the financial, legal, and reputational risks associated with these recurring complaints? These issues potentially affect delivery drivers across North America. The persistence of these problems raises concerns about operational transparency, corporate responsibility, and the financial burden placed on independent contractors. Shareholders should be aware that unresolved driver complaints could eventually create significant reputational, financial, and legal consequences for DoorDash. I respectfully encourage investors to raise these concerns with company management and request clear answers. After years of recurring complaints, drivers deserve fair treatment, and shareholders deserve transparency. Sincerely, A Concerned DoorDash Delivery Driver Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada
