EMCO Industries Limited engages in the manufacturing and sale of electrical porcelain insulators and switchgears. The company offers disc-type insulators, switch/bus isolators, surge arrester, station post insulators, line post insulators, pin type insulators, dropout cutout, spool insulators, strain/guy insulators, and hollow insulators. It also provides tension, suspension, pin, line post, cap, long road, telephone, and low voltage insulators, as well as HT and LT bushings and insulator for railway electrification; switchgears; room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber coating; and acid proof tiles and cement. In addition, the company offers high alumina porcelain, and lining special refractories and grinding media; and metal components, such as cross arms for distribution poles, steel pins for pin insulators/ cross arms, and d-shakle assembly. It operates in Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, the Unites States, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Hong Kong. The company was formerly known as Electric Equipment Manufacturing Company (Private) Limited and changed its name to EMCO Industries Limited in September 1983. The company was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan.
