JTEKT Corporation manufactures and sells steering systems, driveline components, bearings, machine tools, electronic control devices, and home accessory equipment. The company offers automotive components, such as steering, drive line components, and transmission components; bearings; machine tools, such as grinders, matching centers, and gear skiving/gear cutting machines; programmable logic controllers, including motion controllers; IoE solutions; industrial heat treatment equipment, compressors, assembly and inspection machines, electronic test instruments and equipment, maintenance equipment, and metal-bonded wheel forming machines. In addition, it provides tools comprising dressers, vitrified BN and diamond wheels, metal and resin wheels, PCD and PCBN, and electroplated wheels; displays consisting of IoE, monitors, electronic counters, digital tachometers and timers, programmable displays, HMI software, and panel computers; bevel, worm, and cylindrical gears; component parts, such as oil seals, shafts, and precision mechanical equipment; sensors, including IoE, water level meter, rotary encoders, and proximity sensors; and storage devices comprising lithium-ion capacitors. The company operates in Japan, North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, South America, and internationally. JTEKT Corporation was founded in 1921 and is headquartered in Kariya, Japan.
