Lundin Mining Corp. is a Canada-based diversified base metals mining company. The Company is engaged in mining, exploration and development of mineral properties, primarily in Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Sweden and the United States of America, primarily producing copper, zinc, gold and nickel. Its segments include Candeleria, Chapada, Eagle, Neves-Corvo and Zinkgruvan. The Candelaria operations consist of an open pit and underground mines providing copper ore to two on-site processing plants located near Copiapo in the Atacama region of Chile, located across 100 kilometers (kms) in the town of Caldera. The Chapada mine consists of four open pit mines and on-site processing facilities located in the northern Goias State of Brazil, approximately 270 kms northwest of the national capital of Brasilia. Its Josemaria is a copper-gold-silver project. The project is located in the San Juan Province of Argentina, approximately nine kilometer east of the Chile-Argentina border.
