The company operates in four segments: Fastener, Industrial Machinery, Control, and Medical. It provides various types of screw products, such as precision and loose-proof screws, cold forged parts, screw manufacturing tools, metal and plastic fastening screws, drive recesses, heads, bearing points, self-clinching stud bolts, surface treatment products, and other metal parts. The company manufactures screw driving motors, handheld type screw drivers, single spindle and multi spindle screw driving machines, screw driving robots, screw feeders, caulking machines, assembly robots, and conveyors, as well as screw driving units for collaborative robots. It also offers flow meters, receivers/converters, micro-bubble washers, products for marine and batch applications, machines for SWS and SDS tests, and inspection systems, well as measuring and instrumentation systems. In addition, the company offers automatic screw tightening machines, automatic riveting machines, transfer conveyors, precision press products and molds, automatic penetration testers, other fluid measuring instruments, and high-performance inspection and sorting equipment. Further, it provides inspection and packaging of industrial fasteners; and heat treatment of industrial fasteners, as well as develops, manufactures, sells, and maintains analytical instruments; manufactures and sells medical lighting equipment and medical screws; and manufactures and sells tools used for industrial fasteners. The company was incorporated in 1938 and is headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.
