Onoken Co., Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the sale, processing, import, and export of steel products in Japan. The company distributes steel plates, bars, and round steel; wire rods; ironware; construction machinery and materials; and civil engineering and building materials. It also engages in contracted construction work, such as steel frames and exterior walls; civil engineering; supply, processing, assembly, and construction management of materials; and real estate sale, leasing, and related activities. In addition, the company is involved in the sale, processing, levelling, and shearing of hot-rolled, checkered, pickled and surface-treated steel plates; architectural design and construction; sale and processing of deformed steel bars for steel-reinforced concrete, copper, and aluminum; steel reinforcement work; and steel flame cutting activities. It serves ironworks, equipment manufacturers, shipbuilders, and industrial machine makers. The company was formerly known as Ono Kenzai Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Onoken Co., Ltd. in February 1957. Onoken Co., Ltd. was founded in 1925 and is headquartered in Kita-kyushu, Japan.
