Kontron AG, together with its subsidiaries, provides Internet of Things software and solutions in Europe and internationally. The company offers boards and standard form factors products, including single board computers, motherboards, VME, VPX, SOM, CompactPCI, PMC/XMC, 5G modules, CONM express, COM-HPC, SMARC, and Qseven; system products, such as embedded box PCs, industrial monitors, panel PCs, workstations, rack mount systems, network switching, control Units and I/O modules, and aircraft, defense, and transportation computers,, as well as cloud systems, multi-edge servers, rugged platforms for harsh environments, power supply, and 5G MPN solutions; and software and solutions comprising Kontron SUSiEtec toolset, K-Port, artificial intelligence, security solutions, control and monitoring, and safety-critical solutions. It also provides SUSiEtec, an IoT software for data analysis, processing, acquisition, and provisioning, as well as enabling the integration of IT and OT; and standard software for IoT applications. In addition, the company offers IoT systems, which include edge and fog computing, industrial servers, and HMI; IoT boards and modules; and ethernet and TSN switching. It serves automation, avionics, communications and connectivity, defense, energy, infotainment, medical, and transportation industries. The company was formerly known as S&T AG and changed its name to Kontron AG in June 2022. Kontron AG was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Linz, Austria.
