The Securities House K.S.C.P., through its subsidiaries, engages in the investment portfolio management business. It operates through three segments: Proprietary Investment Management; Asset Management, Advisory, and Brokerage Services; and Commercial Activities. The Proprietary Investment Management segment invests in funds in securities and real estate; and manages liquidity requirements. The Asset Management, Advisory, and Brokerage Services segment engages in the discretionary and non-discretionary investment portfolio management; manages local and international investment funds and collective investment schemes; and provides advisory and online trading brokerage services. The Commercial Activities segment is involved in the education and food businesses. It also acts as a custodian and subscription agent. The company was incorporated in 1982 and is based in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
