Investing.com – Stocks barely budged Tuesday, which came as little surprise for a market closing early for the Christmas Eve holiday.
- The S&P 500 was flat, the Dow lost 0.13% and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.08%
- In commodities, WTI futures rose about 0.8%, while gold futures were up about 1%
- There was little reaction to President Donald Trump again assuring investors that a phase one trade deal with China would be signed soon. The stock market will be closed tomorrow for Christmas Day.
