Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading lower during Tuesday's evening deals, after major benchmark averages lifted during regular hours, led by surging tech companies, as Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META) and Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) popped 3.1% apiece, while Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) added 1.8%.
By 18:45 ET (22:45 GMT), Dow Jones futures were flat, while S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.2% and 0.3%, respectively.
In extended deals, AeroVironment (NASDAQ:AVAV) added 5.4% after the company reported Q4 EPS of $0.99 versus $1.02 expected, while revenue for the quarter came in at $186 million versus $164.97M expected.
Ahead in Wednesday's session, investors will be looking towards goods trade balance and preliminary wholesale inventories data, as well as a speech from Fed Chair Powell.
During Tuesday’s trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 212 points or 0.6% to 33,926.7, the S&P 500 lifted 49.6 points or 1.2% to 4,378.4, and the Nasdaq Composite added 219.9 points or 1.7% to 13,555.7.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 3.767%.
