Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Duta Anggada Realty Tbk (JK:DART), which rose 23.88% or 96 points to trade at 498 at the close. Dharma Samudera Fishing Tbk (JK:DSFI) added 15.23% or 23 points to end at 174 and Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) was up 12.50% or 40 points to 360 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk (JK:SMDM), which lost 9.90% or 10 points to trade at 91 in late trade. Bumi Citra Permai Tbk (JK:BCIP) declined 9.65% or 110 points to end at 1030 and Prima Alloy Steel Universal (JK:PRAS) shed 9.52% or 24 points to 228.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 149 to 142 and 88 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.01% or 0.46 to $45.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.94% or 0.44 to hit $47.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.37% or 4.90 to trade at $1336.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.10% to 13074.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.13% to 9986.90.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 95.21.
