Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Property and Mining sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 1.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pikko Land Development Tbk (JK:RODA), which rose 34.93% or 51 points to trade at 197 at the close. Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE) added 34.82% or 39.00 points to end at 151.00 and Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) was up 27.52% or 41 points to 190 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS), which lost 24.86% or 435 points to trade at 1315 in late trade. Hotel Mandarine Regency Tbk PT (JK:HOME) declined 16.83% or 68 points to end at 336 and Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk (JK:ABDA) shed 12.41% or 850.00 points to 6000.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 226 to 118 and 96 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.16% or 0.54 to $45.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.94% or 0.46 to hit $48.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.79 to trade at $1269.39 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 13287.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.62% to 10083.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.04.
