Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Agriculture and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Logindo Samudramakmur Tbk (JK:LEAD), which rose 34.86% or 38 points to trade at 147 at the close. Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha (JK:WOMF) added 34.69% or 51 points to end at 198 and Magna Finance Tbk (JK:MGNA) was up 34.29% or 36.00 points to 141.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Artos Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ARTO), which lost 33.75% or 54 points to trade at 106 in late trade. Sona Topas Tourism Industry (JK:SONA) declined 24.21% or 610 points to end at 1910 and Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (JK:BINA) shed 13.93% or 68 points to 420.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 165 to 139 and 107 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.52% or 0.27 to $52.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.82% or 0.45 to hit $55.55 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.63% or 7.50 to trade at $1204.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.23% to 13280.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.33% to 9891.55.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.55% at 101.14.
