Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Communication sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 3.46% or 39 points to trade at 1167 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 3.24% or 210 points to end at 6694 and Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) was up 2.60% or 900 points to 35500 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which lost 13.00% or 1281 points to trade at 8571 in late trade. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 3.41% or 51 points to end at 1445 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 1.66% or 17 points to 1008.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 246 to 139 and 30 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.09% or 0.76 to $70.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.51% or 1.13 to hit $76.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1314.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.00% to 3.6132, while EUR/ILS fell 0.39% to 4.3056.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 92.63.
