Its lead drug candidate is Fexapotide Triflutate (NX-1207) for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and low-grade localized prostate cancer, as well as hepatocellular carcinoma. The company also offers NicAlert, a simple, cost-effective test for determining smoking status; and TobacAlert, a test for detecting second-hand smoke exposure. In addition, it develops drugs for the treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Nassau, Bahamas.
