Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Property, Trade and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI), which rose 24.68% or 195 points to trade at 985 at the close. Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (JK:PLIN) added 24.62% or 960 points to end at 4860 and Trimegah Securities Tbk (JK:TRIM) was up 23.31% or 31 points to 164 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p), which lost 16.67% or 120.00 points to trade at 600.00 in late trade. Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) declined 14.35% or 33 points to end at 197 and Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) shed 13.09% or 50.00 points to 332.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 172 to 171 and 112 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.14% or 0.07 to $49.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $52.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.44 to trade at $1266.96 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.10% to 13323.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.00% to 10602.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 93.31.
