You guys realize the irrationality of your fear right now in stockpiling on silver in physical form? The dollar is not going to get wiped out anytime soon. Store your money in a reputable bank insured by CIDC and you’ll be safe. Storing physical precious metals in your house? You guys clearly didn’t hear of that robbery group from Chile that robbed tons of houses in the GTA across the past few years. Or the mafia robbing the safes of chinese in richmond hill at gunpoint, taking the earnings from cash only businesses. This is not armageddon lmao oil will recover, the canadian dollar is not strictly governed by oil, and economy will recover
Has nothing to do with this. Im invested in the banks and still hold metals. Whats your point. Its about devaluing of currency not a total collapse of the banks
my point is security. None of you will be able to fend off an armed entry. Unless you’re an ex forces then I salute you. Majority of you will all cry like little bitches and call cops who will come late, and the looters will have taken off with your precious metals. Pay the canadian mint to store your metals at a fee- at least that’s safe. Or have a safe deposit box at a bank. Maybe 10k worth of silver lost isn’t too too bad but 100k...200k...imagine having that taken and GONE. What house insurance will cover 100-200k worth of silver?If you’re smart you’ll install a reinforced safe in a concrete slab and even that will cost thousands depending on how your main slab is cast... My point in case? No? I knew of someone who lost 25k+ of gold jewellry (their “INVESTMENT”) and their insurance covered maybe 12k of it. Chilean robbery group. If that doesn’t stick and you don’t take those precautions, then perhaps theres too much fluoride in water affecting your brain
What about the rationale of diversifying your portfolio and making wise investments? I’ve been purchasing physical silver over the last three years at the comex price and if I sold today I’ve nearly doubled my investment. Plus it’s long over due for an adjustment. Just good invewting imo.
