Trump knows Intel has the only assembled NA EUV machine in the world on US soil. The window for getting a jump on the next evolution of 1.6nm semiconductors is closing as Samsung races to assemble theirs and run their tests, and TSMC is scheduled to receive theirs at the end of this year. Intel is in the hot-seat for a reason, and LipBuTan wants to lay off the gas on developing their 18A chip and improving their yield with this anomaly of an opportunity?! Intel is in a rare position to play a very big role in the next 2 years of the semiconductor technology development in the United States.
