Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Agriculture and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.16% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR), which rose 22.41% or 390 points to trade at 2130 at the close. Kabelindo Murni Tbk (JK:KBLM) added 22.28% or 82 points to end at 450 and Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (JK:ICON) was up 20.95% or 44 points to 254 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Enseval Putra Megatrading Tbk (JK:EPMT), which lost 25.00% or 750 points to trade at 2250 in late trade. Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) declined 23.64% or 130 points to end at 420 and Atlas Resources Tbk (JK:ARII) shed 14.53% or 68 points to 400.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 163 to 160 and 108 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.88% or 0.43 to $49.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.87% or 0.45 to hit $52.07 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1231.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.15% to 13313.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.47% to 10258.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 99.74.
