Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Agriculture, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Aneka Tambang Persero Tbk (JK:ANTM), which rose 20.19% or 105 points to trade at 625 at the close. Indofarma Tbk (JK:INAF) added 12.98% or 57 points to end at 496 and Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (JK:KOBX) was up 11.30% or 13 points to 128 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW), which lost 10.00% or 34 points to trade at 306 in late trade. Lion Metal Works Tbk (JK:LION) declined 10.00% or 90.00 points to end at 810.00 and Lippo Securities Tbk (JK:LPPS) shed 10.00% or 11 points to 99.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 169 to 125 and 101 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.42% or 0.16 to $37.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.38% or 0.15 to hit $39.69 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.11% or 13.60 to trade at $1237.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13175.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.58% to 9947.40.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 94.45.
