Disney is closing for a month cruise line is closing as well . I see red for a bit then buy after the month or when the covid19 has settled.
Why not buy now when you know its going to go back up in a couple months
simple math really, if i buy shares at 100 and I have 10k to invest then that equals 100 shares. If I buy at 90 then I save 10 bucks a share and can buy more, increasing how much I can make. Buy and hold is great long term, however why invest in something when you know there is more downturn coming?

buy at 90
i think its buy time
that didn't age well
disney just isnt putting out content at the same rate as its competitors at the moment. which is good because itll probly see a bit if a dip- tho a bigger chunk of what it brings in is in sales at its locations... either way it will force disney to stay competitive and realize they gotta keep up and feed people content. so I see a dip then a tweak and they'll go back up
What if a stuff or guest found virus in the Dis park. What is the subsequent outcome?

I think Disney is seen to be appropriately valued and will remain approximatley where it is for some time. Because of this I believe, in the coming months, people (particularly career traders) will become impatient and start selling Disney stock, causing a slight drop between the first and second quarters of 2020. That is, unless Disney releases some sort of new feature to their streaming service to further boost interest in owning their equity, in which case my prediction will be fruitless.

The better question is what is a fair market price in Q4 given disney+ release.

Strong buy, good finicials as well as release of disney + tomorrow and looking to be a good quarter heading into christmas
Good call
Should definitely go for it ??
Walt Disney is warming up to run at least upto 150 mark.
I agree
I think Netflix is overvalued and will have to reduce it's membership as people will be faced with getting Netflix, or, for the same monthly amount, Disney + Apple.I expect Disney to pull all its content off Netflix as soon as the licencing deal expires. Disney have a great selection for kids, making it a no brainer for many families. Not sure what Apple will offer, but at 4.99$/month it will sure draw people to look into alternatives to Netflix, which could be beneficial for Disney given the brand it has (Marvel, etc)If Disney start streaming News and Sport than it could be enough to make a big leap. Will have to wait and see what the offering and the numbers will be, but I have a feeling Disney moved cautiously ans slowly into that space and will not miss the mark.
I dont know if I'd agree it's over valued simple cause it's never really had any real competition. but I do agree it's over valued vs the competition coming up. look at netflix vs say disney yep I'd agree netflix is over valued now. look at Disney catalog of offerings. its awsome for kids and family got a great future for marvel and star wars lots to be done there.
Still long !

how do u get a dividend if they dont know ur address?
That's a very beginner question, but I'll answer it; You buy shares in a brokerage account. The dividends are paid in the account the same way you get paid interest in a saving account. The dividends just get added to the cash value of your brokerage account. Then you can fuether your knowledge about dividends by researching DRIP.
