Investing.com - Canadian equities started mixed on Friday. The top gainers were Capped Communication Services, Capped Energy and Capped Financial indices; while Renewable Energy and Clean Technology, Capped Materials and Capped Utilities were the top losers.

At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index climbed 0.39%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap also increased. The TSX Venture rose 0.07%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.11%.

Enghouse Systems (TSX:ENGH): Rose 4.21% or 1.22 points to 30.22

North West (TSX:NWC): Climbed 3.19% or 1.56 points to 50.48

Energy Fuels Inc (TSX:EFR): Increased 2.05% or 0.120 points to 5.980
